Remember What You Have Learned

Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Do you have questions about God? Are you curious about Who He is or What He is like? The BEST way to find out is through the study of scriptures and spending much time in prayer. I see all sorts of videos sharing ideas about God or making up some theology. I’ve seen several young Christians get all turned around and some have even walked away, no longer believing the in God at all. I’m encouraging YOU today to study for yourselves. Don’t even venture out and read or listen to anything controversial without MUCH thought and prayer. Study for yourselves, pray and give yourself time to process what you’re learning. Whatever you do discover, cling to it fervently and stand your ground. Don’t be conformed to this world, instead be transformed by the life giving power of God’s word. Don’t know where to start? Nothing replaces personal time spent in prayer and reading of scripture. Want more? There are several online bible studies available including WBC, LGG, GMG or P31 to name a few. For those of you with more flexibility you can also find a study at your local church or BSF. Don’t let anyone spoon feed you biblical truth. God has written His narrative for you. It’s up to you to explore it. I’m challenging you to see how far you can go. You are loved.
