Eyes to See

The events that transpired last week in my hometown of Orlando had me thinking a lot.

Senseless acts of violence often leave us shaken and wondering how did this happen and where God is in the midst of it all.

In my devotional reading yesterday I ran across this scripture.

“Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!” Then Elisha prayed, “O LORD, open his eyes and let him see!” The LORD opened the young man’s eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire.

‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭6:16-17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God is on our side.

The problem is we don’t always see Him working in our lives.

No matter what it looks like out there, God and a entire regimen of heavenly host are on the side of His people.

My prayer today is that you will both see & know that God is for you and not against you.

Knowing this, may you rest assured that those who are against you, cannot win.

Walk in victory! Much love to you today.
