Keep praying, don’t give up!

Garland lights on wooden rustic background. Valentine's day back
My thoughts on the events over the last few days…
Shooting at Orlando night club
Shock
Disbelief
Feelings of abandonment
Remember you are not alone
Matt 28:20 – Jesus said He will never leave you or forsake you. He will be with you always
Fear
Anxiety
Be Brave
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God did not give us a spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind

Death of a family member
More shock
Disbelief
Grief
Don’t be sad
Think on good things instead
2 Corinthians 5:8 – For to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord
Remember
Ecc 3: 1-2 To everything there is a season a time to be born and a time to die
A toddler is taken by an alligator at the Disney Grand Floridian
Shock again
Disbelief
Oh my…
We were just there watching Another Cinderella Story…
Compassion
Sympathy
Sadness
How did this happen?
Are we safe anywhere??
God says –
Have faith
2 Corinthians 5:7 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. – For we walk by faith and not by sight
Things will work out
Romans 8:28 – All things work together for the good of those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose
Jesus is coming back
John 14:3 – And I go an prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself
We are victors and not victims
Romans 8:37 – In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us
What is the ending?
Healing
Salvation
Restoration
Peace
Revelation 21:4 – God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things have passed away
Keep praying
James 5:16 – the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.
Hold on…
Psalm 30: 5 – Weeping may endure for a night, but JOY comes in the morning.
Psalm 27:1-13,14 – I would have fainted, unless I believed I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land. Wait on the Lord. Be of good courage, and he will strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.
